FIXING STUFF AROUND MYSELF:
WE ALWAYS BEGIN WITH FIRST STEP:
I am a teacher at a renowned school in Karachi. Every Saturday, my off-time duty is scheduled in which I have to take proper care of discipline and to make sure students are standing in a straight line in the ground of our school(as shown in the picture).
Just like another day, I looked at my locker for a second and I saw many documents and students’ files lying around in an unorganized manner (as shown in the picture). It was such a mess to look at. I took some time and organized files and documents in a way that anyone could easily locate what to find and where to find (as shown in the picture).
I felt accomplished and happy after having sight of students standing in an organized manner and documents properly lying in my locker.
Yes, I would have done this if it wasn’t required here. I believe in a sense of responsibility and devotion. If I look at something in my surrounding that needs some fixation I do not hesitate for a moment and make it done without anyone’s approval.
In short, leadership means leading from the front and one person can make a difference and I believe I am that one person.
