Having a growth mindset (the belief that you are control of your own ability and can learn and improve) is the key to success. Yes, hard work, effort and persistence all are important, but not as important as having that underlying belief that you are in control of your own destiny.

GROWTH MINDSET VS FIXED MINDSET:

CONCEQUENSES OF GROWTH MINDSET:

“Skills can be taught and developed, but it’s much harder to find people who have a mindset and attitude geared toward success”.

AMAL TOTKAY:

  1. SELF TALK:

Self-talk is your internal dialogue. It influenced by your subconscious mind, and it reveals you thoughts, beliefs, questions and ideas. Self-talk can be both negative and positive. It can be encouraging and it can be distressing. Much of your self-talk depends on your personality.

WHAT IS POSITIVE SELF-TALK:

Positive self-talk is an inner monologue that makes you feel good about yourself and everything going on your life. It’s an optimistic voices in your head that encourages you look at the bright side, pick yourself up when you fall and recognize when you fail.

HOW TO CREATE A POSITIVE SELF-TALK:

“I have the power to change my mind. Attempting to do this took courage and I am proud of myself for trying. Even though it wasn’t the outcome I hoped for, I learned a lot about myself. I might still have a way to go, but I am proud of how far I have already come”.

2. GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE:

As the life begins at the end of our comfort zone and the hardest thing we have to do is leaving our comfort zone. But we have to let go of the life we are familiar with and take risk we live the life that we dream about.

SUCCESS LIES OUT OF COMFORT ZONE:

By pushing outside a comfort zone we can achieve more;

There I actually even an exact science around it…

“When you are too comfortable, it’s time to move on. Terrified of what’s next? You are on the right track”.

STEPS COMING OUT OF COMFORT ZONE:

1. Make changes to your daily routine. This is an easy one because it teems with opportunities to change…

2. Delegate/Mentor…

3. Learn something new…

4. One nice thing/Volunteer

5. Physical change, mental change…

6. Face fear…

7. Up your game…

8. Take new challenges…

3. CREATE NEW HABITS:

New habits can shape your life and your personality. And by that, they shape your future accomplishments. Whether they are acquired earlier or later in life, imposed by an external factor or by your own self, habits can help you to determine and achieve your full potential and to succeed in life.

4. ASK PEOPLE FOR HELP:

The truth is being able to get guidance, support and clarity are essential skills for anyone who’s good at what they want to learn, and then repeatedly ask for their help and guidance.

5. FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT:

Fake it till you make it is an English aphorism which suggests that by imitating, competence and an optimistic mindset, a person can realize those qualities in their real life and achieve the results they seek.

HERE ARE A FEW WAYS TO FAKE THAT CONFIDENT FEELING, EVEN WHEN YOU ARE NOT FEELING IT:

1. Stand up straight. Body language has a lot to do with how others perceive confidence.

2. Highlight your competence to feel confident.

3. Maintain eye contact.

4. Get physical.

5. Upgrade your manners.

6. Project work.

7. Dress the part.

8. Choose optimism.

These all are “AMAL TOTKAY TIPS”. And I love all these tips because they make the life so easy and interesting. But my most favourite tip is “SELF-TALK and COMING OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE”. As I found it so interesting and amazing to discover myself by talking to myself however I didn’t do the experience before. But when I join AMAL Fellowship and did the first course that was knowing yourself that was wonderful experience and after doing that wonderful experience I practiced it out on daily basis…. I start to ask reflection question from myself and did counter argument to myself… this practice make me more confident and optimistic. I feel myself happy and relax.

I love myself coming out of myself from comfort zone… as I started it already by joining Amal Academy with job and studies… the organization in which I am appointed as a teacher is not comfortable place for me… there are lots of things which disturbs me and many times they rejected my requests for several issues but I still work there to get experienced, face challenges and learn new things.

I am going to apply all of the five AMAL TOTKAY in my everyday life as they are very helpful to push myself to my success.
